A little cute, a little cringey and 100% hilarious, Pitch A Friend is a pop up dating event that offers the community a night of laughs, good vibes and maybe a potential new partner.
People apply to pitch their friends, we select the top applicants who then prepare a three minute Powerpoint to present to the crowd. Each pitch is followed by a two minute Q&A from the audience.
After the pitches are over, participants are encouraged to mingle with the crowd during our Pitch A Friend after party.
I knew it would be fun but did not think it would be on quite that level of entertainment. All of our friends came from DC, did not regret it, and are very excited to attend the next PAF event.- Jeanette L, Pitcher
WOW! Seriously one of the best events I've ever attended. It was fun mix up to a standard Friday night. The dating apps can be so exhausting, and this event was a great way to meet new people while having fun doing it.- Taylor V, Pitchee
The Bullpen - DC
Each event has a Google Form application with a series of questions on why you should be selected to pitch your friend. You can find these applications above in the tickets section of this page or on the Facebook event page. Please note, that due to the volume of applicants, pitches will not be selected after the application deadlines.
We’ll let you in on a little secret. When looking through pitch applications we look for a few things. 1. It might sound obvious, but we want to see how much you love your friend and how invested you are in helping them find love. 2. Pitches are only as strong as their pitchees. Make sure YOUR personality, humor, and charisma shine through in your application.
